Tradewinds Aviation Services is the product of a 2005 merger between two leading aviation service providers. This brought together over five decades of combined experience in the civil aviation industry, with a particular focus on ground handling and logistics. Our vision was to unite the industry's best practices to create a dynamic and vibrant company. Today, Tradewinds stands as the premier indigenous aviation services company in the region.

Over the past decade, we have grown into a formidable enterprise, serving both local and international markets. Our core services encompass ground handling, logistics, and, more recently, specialised training for aviation-related careers.

Headquartered at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi, Tradewinds has established stations in Mombasa, Ukunda, Lamu, Malindi, and Wajir. We hold the distinction of being the sole ground handling provider at Ukunda, Isiolo, and Kisumu International Airport, from which we also extend services to Eldoret International Airport. With over 800 employees, Tradewinds is a leading employer within the regional aviation industry.
